In a nailbiting grand finale, the winner of this season of Dancing With The Stars has been crowned.

Grant Denyer has been crowned the winner of Dancing With The Stars for the second time.

The TV, radio and podcast host – who was paired with dance partner Lily Cornish for the All Stars season – described the victory as the “best sensation”.

“This show means the world to me, I absolutely love it,” a beaming Denyer, 44, told the crowd.

“If I wasn’t dancing or hosting it, I would be changing the light bulbs in the roof.”

He added: “I vowed 15 years ago to never dance again because it was the best memory of my life, I thought I could never top that, so why would you even bother?

“I’m so glad I changed my mind and did this, because it’s been the best sensation.”

It was Denyer’s second DWTS win, after scoring the top spot alongside dance partner Amanda Garner in the fourth series in 2006.

Competing in Sunday night’s grand finale was Courtney Act, David Rodan, Deni Hines, Grant Denyer, Kris Smith and Ricki-Lee Coulter.

Denyer, Act and Rodan were all given perfect scores by the judges in the freestyle dance, but the audience ultimately handed the Gold Logie winner the top prize.

Denyer’s win saw him take home a trophy as well as a cheque for $20,000 for his chosen charity, The Smith Family.

Finishing up in second place was drag queen Courtney Act, along with her dance partner Joshua Keefe.
