This weekend promises to be high on entertainment. An award night which is a starry affair in non-fiction shows, special episodes of daily soaps; a platter of mixed entertainment is waiting for Bengali television viewers. Determined to woo the audience and sustain viewership, all leading channels are at loggerheads to bank on their special offerings.

A leading channel which recently launched non-fiction show ‘Apni Ki Bolen’ hosted by veteran actor Debshankar Halder is also ready to launch its new daily soap ‘Bouma Ekghor’ soon. The channel will air its award program this weekend. The award show, which will felicitate the artists and the talents behind the camera for their contribution, will be aired on April 24. It will be a musical extravaganza featuring celebrities from Tollywood. Actors Dev, Jeet, and their rocking performances will make the award night more special. Dev rocked the dance floor with his groovy moves while Jeet’s charismatic persona will surely steal hearts. Besides them, Solanki Roy, Gourab Chatterjee, Dibyojyoti Dutta, Swastika Ghosh, Srijla Guha, Sean Banerjee, Trina Saha and many other stars who are a part of popular television shows aired by the same channel, will set the stage on fire with their dance performances.

On the other hand, ‘Ismart Jodi’, a couple-based reality show hosted by Jeet will entertain the audience with a fun-filled episode. The recently launched show ‘Apni Ki Bolen’ is also ready with its interesting episode.

Yet another TV channel also promises to spice up the entertainment quotient with its offerings. ‘Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9’, hosted by Sourav Ganguly will air a celebrity special episode this weekend which will feature Yash Dasgupta and Nusrat Jahan as the participants. The duo is making its first appearance together on television. Babul Supriyo-Rachana, Rupankar Bagchi-Chaitali, Lopamudra Mitra-Joy Sarkar are also a part of the special episode. Cookery show ‘Rannaghar’ will also witness a starry affair. Real-life jodi Dev and Rukmini will feature in the show.
