Big Brother has dropped in its second outing for Seven, with the network only just beaten by Nine for the night.

Lego Masters won the slot at 609,000 viewers and topped the demos.

That was comfortably ahead of MasterChef Australia (504,000), 7:30 (491,000) Big Brother (394,000), People’s Republic of Mallacoota (252,000) and Great British Railway Journeys (203,000).

Later The Cheap Seats (360,000) won for 10 then The Family Court Murders (290,000), Wild Territory (258,000), The Good Doctor (209,000) and Insight (145,000).

Nine network won 28.2% then Seven 27.2%, 10 19.4%, ABC 15.8% and SBS 9.3%.

Nine News (890,000 / 881,000) was best for Seven. A Current Affair won at 668,000 then Hot Seat (427,000 / 291,000) with Nine News Late at 165,000.

Seven News was #1 at 997,000 / 922,000 for Seven. The Chase won with 595,000 / 367,000 then Home & Away (500,000) and The Rookie (125,000).

The Project pulled 391,000 / 268,000 f0r 10. 10 News First was 287,000 / 235,000 with NCIS on 147,000.

ABC News drew 621,000. Louis Theroux’s Hidden America (158,000) and The Drum (154,000) followed.

On SBS it was  SBS World News (174,000 / 143,000), Mastermind (110,000), Dateline (108,000) and The Feed (61,000).

7mate’s Outback Opal Hunters led multichannels at 129,000.
