An episode of MasterChef on Ten has topped entertainment programming for Wednesday evening, however, it was the Seven network that led total share.
The episode aired to a metro audience of 556,000 viewers, while also winning all three key advertising demos.

Next in entertainment was ABC’s Gruen which saw 501,000 metro viewers tune in, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia with 494,000 metro viewers.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 15 June, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.545 million viewers, including 38,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was an episode of Big Brother on Seven with an uplift of 44% and aired to a total audience of 761,000.

Next in entertainment was Seven’s Home and Away, bringing in 443,000 metro viewers. The episode was followed by a repeat episode of Nine’s Travel Guides, which brought in 438,000 metro viewers, then The Weekly with Claire Pickering on ABC, which had 436,000 metro viewers.
Overall, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Wednesday with 895,000 metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 858,000 metro viewers. Nine News had 787,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 which had an average of 773,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 548,000 and Nine’s A Current Affair had 577,000 metro viewers, with ABC’s 7:30 on 484,000 metro viewers.
As mentioned Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 26.7% just pipping Nine’s 26.2%, while Ten had a share of 20.8%, and ABC had a 17.9% share.
Seven also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Wednesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
