Which nope, not so much.

While Selena herself hasn’t confirmed why she isn’t at the 2022 Grammy Awards (note: she was up for best Latin Pop Album), a tipster wrote into celeb gossip account Deux Moi to report that it has zero to do with Justin’s presence, writing, “She is not attending!!! We were looking to do something with her, but then again Justin also wasn’t attending until last night.” Deux Moi then asked, “So nothing to do with him?” and the tipster confirmed, “Yeah, nothing to do with him.”

So, why isn’t Sel actually at the Grammys? Likely because she’s busy filming season 2 of Only Murders in the Building in New York City. But she’s super thrilled that Revelación, her Spanish-language EP, was nominated, telling Entertainment Tonight, “I cried like a little baby. I was very excited. I worked really hard on that project, so it was a lovely surprise. I’m very excited!”

Back in March of last year, Selena told Vogue, “The project is really an homage to my heritage. It’s a Sasha Fierce moment, for sure.” She added, “A lot of my fan base is Latin, and I’ve been telling them this album was going to happen for years.
